They burst onto the scene in 2019 with the single 'Ride', which catapulted them into the finals of Radio Wave's Startér competition and opened doors to Czech and Slovak radio stations. Since then, their music has regularly been heard on Radio 1, Radio Wave, Expres FM, Rádio Slovensko, and Rádio FM.
Their debut album, 'Millennial Cliché', released in autumn 2022, featured the titular single, which Expres FM ranked among the best pop songs of the year. This was followed by a collaboration with Anděl Award winner Lazer Viking, with whom the band recorded the EP 'Lovesick' and the joint single 'Givin’ You Up'. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Petr Vlček, inspired by the aesthetics of Wes Anderson and Karel Zeman, which has garnered over 200,000 views on YouTube.
In May 2025, Iggy Mayerov released their new single 'Feels Like Yesterday', which addresses the personal and often overlooked themes of death, loss, and acceptance. The single is accompanied by a music video – again in collaboration with director Petr Vlček – offering an imaginative and visually striking perspective on the theme of departure. In March 2026, the band released another preview from the album, the single 'Going Backwards', which thematically follows 'Feels Like Yesterday' and develops the sonic and lyrical direction the full-length album will take. The band once again chose to collaborate with producer Jakub Kaifosz, also known as Lazer Viking, and it will be available for listening in autumn 2026.
The band consists of Tereza Pilařová (vocals, guitar), Michal Pilař (guitar), Jakub Pilař (bass), Martin Griner (keyboards, synthesizers), Alžběta Kuklová (vocals and guitar), and Jiří Hájek (guitar).
They have played over a hundred concerts across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and the USA, where they performed at The New Colossus showcase festival in New York. They have appeared at festivals such as Beseda u bigbítu, Regiony, United Islands, Mezi Ploty, Budějovický Majáles, and the Ponton showcase of Headliner music magazine. Their successes also include opening for British legends Bôa at Roxy club, American musician Prewn, shoegazers Dream, Ivory, and Czech band Tata Bojs. The band builds on these experiences with further plans for 2026, including an autumn tour in Germany and a performance at the BUSH showcase festival in Hungary.
